RJR News / The search has ended for the man linked to last week’s fatal stabbing of 14-year-old Jamaica College student, Nicholas Francis.
Hours after the Jamaica College family in partnership with the Private Sector Organization of Jamaica through Crime Stop offered a J$1 million award for the capture of Nicholas’ killer-the man at the centre of the probe is now in police custody.
On Saturday, Quacie Hart handed himself over to the Half Way Tree Police in the company of his lawyer.
The police Corporate Communications Unit in a statement on Sunday morning, said more details on Hart’s surrender will be made available later.
Nicholas was killed last Wednesday on Old Hope Road in St. Andrew.
He was stabbed on a bus near to Jamaica College when he refused to hand over his cell phone to a robber.
