Trinidad Express / THE Police Service Commission (PSC) is inviting proposals from local consulting firms to provide consulting services to assist with the recruitment of a Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner of Police. In a newspaper advertisement yesterday, the PSC said firms wishing to obtain the request for proposals (RFP) may do so by writing to the Director of Personnel Administration, of the Service Commission Department, Police Service Secretariat, located at corner of Churchill-Roosevelt Highway and Pasea Main Road, Tunapuna. The RFP may also be obtained by sending an e-mail to [email protected] Proposals must be delivered and deposited in the tender box, located at the same address, no later than 2 p.m. on November 18, the advertisement stated. “Technical proposals will be opened at the offices of the Police Service Commission Secretariat in the presence of the bidders who choose to attend, immediately following the deadline for delivery of proposals. Proposals reaching after the closing date and time will be rejected. Please note that the Police Service Commission is not bound to select any of the consultants submitting proposals. The PSC also reserves the right to cancel this invitation in its entirety or even partially without incurring any liability to bidders,” stated the advertisement.
