Trinidad Express / ST MARGARET’S   ARMED thieves pistol-whipped employees and made away with more than $8,000 from KFC in St Margaret’s on Saturday night.  The robbery occurred ten minutes before the outlet’s closing time at midnight. Police were told that the security guard, a supervisor and a cashier were on duty when three men — two with firearms — stormed the business place. The thieves used their firearms and beat the three employees on the head. The security guard was robbed of a cellphone valued $700, and grabbed $8,000 from the cash register. They escaped in a waiting Nissan B14, police said.
