Trinidad Express / A Morne Diablo husband is appealing for the public’s assistance in locating his 48-year-old wife who went missing on June 30.
Winston Lewis told Express that his wife Meera dropped off their 14-year-old daughter at her mother’s house, said she was going to run a few errands and return to collect her, but has not been seen since.
“I have not received any calls from her since that day and when I tried calling her phone it goes straight to voice mail.”
Lewis said he lodged a report at the Penal Police Station and officers visited his wife’s mother, however, she could only confirm that Meera did drop off her daughter and promised to return a few hours later to collect her, but never did.
“She is not at any known family members or friends and none of them have either seen or heard from her since that day. It’s the first time that something like this has ever happened and it has me very worried because she’s not someone who would do something like this,” said Lewis.
He said their daughter has been crying since her mother’s disappearance.
Lewis is asking that if anyone has any information regarding the whereabouts of his wife to please contact him at 371-9523 or call the Penal Police Station.
