RJR News / Meanwhile, Dominica’s Prime Minister Dr Roosevelt Skerritt has revised the curfew hours in the country, explaining that the  security agencies had advised that order is being maintained.

The new curfew runs from 6pm to 6am, a reduction in hours from the 4pm to 8am period imposed immediately after category five Hurricane Irma struck the island in mid September.

The Prime Minister told the country on Thursday however that the state of  emergency will remain in effect.

Mr. Skerritt admitted that there have been logistical problems in getting much-needed help to citizens, but urged Dominicans to stop taking to social media to complain.
