Trinidad Express / Some 24 cruise ships will be sailing to Trinidad and Tobago this cruise season as hurricanes have battered other Caribbean islands causing cruise ships to divert their routes. Tourism Minister Shamfa Cudjoe said among them the Princess Cruise line will be bringing some 3,400 passengers and a crew of 1,200. “In light of the recent hurricanes that would have taken place in the northern Caribbean, we were able to work with the port agents who had been able to assist us in bringing to Trinidad and Tobago 24 additional cruise calls that would provide much business to your guides and the different stakeholders in Tobago,” she said.
