Jamaica Gleaner / Riding on the heels of a successful brand relaunch, Yello continues to deliver innovative experiences for customers and users to find all things local, even those ‘hidden gems’.
They recently launched the ‘Find Yello Treasure Hunt Series’ islandwide, to give users of the Find Yello mobile app an exciting opportunity to discover more of Jamaica while winning daily prizes and a chance to watch the English Premier League live in action.
To enter, persons are encouraged to download the Find Yello app and must like and follow Find Yello’s social-media pages for a chance to win.
The Find Yello Treasure Hunt will see app users answering trivia based on daily themes such as Made in Jamaica Monday, Travel Tuesday, Wellness Wednesday, Adventure Thursday and Foodie Friday. Participants will use the given clues to identify the company and find their profile on the Find Yello app.
“Made in Jamaica Mondays are about Jamaican products, Travel Tuesdays will feature various companies that offer transportation or tour services, Wellness Wednesdays are for spas, gyms, skincare, hair care and medical services. When we get down to Adventure Thursdays, we will showcase adventure parks across the island, as well as historic sites, and we close out with Foodie Fridays, which are all about restaurants, sports bars, coffee shops, and so much more,” explained Find Yello media marketing manager, Ayanna Kirton.
“It is meant to be an exciting engagement of our customers and rewarding them in a special way, while getting persons to learn more about Jamaica. This initiative stays true to our mantra, ‘we know Jamaica’,” she added. Participants will also benefit from daily prizes of gift vouchers valued at $10,000.
“The daily prizes are for amazing goods or services from our partners, but the ultimate prize is an all-expense-paid trip for two to watch an English Premier League match live. A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” announced Kirton.
In order to win the grand prize, participants must identify the company in question, find their profile on the Yello app, upload a screenshot of the correct clue and email to [email protected] .
The competition runs from October 18 to November 22. Stops along the blitz trail will be made in Kingston, Montego Bay, Manchester, Ocho Rios and Port Antonio.
