Trinidad Express / Austrian exchange student Silvia Zirbiseggar says there has been no sign of her beloved stray dog, Betty.
Betty, a black pot hound, who frequents the University of the West Indies, St Augustine campus went missing two weeks ago.
In an attempt to reunite with her canine companion and hopefully adopt, Zirbiseggar took to social media two days ago with a plea to the public to help her find Betty.
The post was put up on the UWI Guild Student Complaints Committee page. With various people chiming in about the dog and her possible whereabouts.
Zirbiseggar noted that the post was shared over 250 times, and she is thankful for the article in the Express on Betty, which garnered much attention from the public.
She said, “I hope I will find her. A lot of people have their eyes out by now. I will not give up looking for her.”
One person on the post wrote: Omg this doggie used to walk with me to school on some days and she would stay with me if I was on campus. I called her Nyla and she would come and take pets and food. I really hope you find her and she gets the happy life”.
