RJR News / Despite being wanted by many clubs across Europe, exciting Jamaican winger Leon Bailey is yet to decide his next move. Bailey arrived home on Friday evening as the German Bundesliga takes a winter break. The Bayer Leverkusen winger is on the shopping list of most clubs but the 20 year old is the first to tell you he wasn’t expecting to make the headlines so early in his career.

“Actually I never had any thoughts about that but we all had dreams since we were very young and that dream was still there,” said Bailey.

Among the clubs trying to sign Bailey is English Premier League Champions Chelsea, a club he has been linked to since he was 15.

“It’s a dream for me to play in England, but at the moment I’m just focusing on now and trying to keep up my performance and once I’m doing well, there will be a lot of other clubs knocking at the door,” he said.

Chelsea’s £ 22 millon bid was rejected while Barcelona is in hot pursuit, so will it be England or Spain?

“Both of them are good competitions but my dream is always to play in the English Premier League but it doesn’t mean I’m going to choose England over Spain or Spain over England,” Bailey noted.

Bailey is back home for the Christmas but will return to Germany in January, when it will be made clearer if his career lies elsewhere in Europe.
