JUST CRUIZIN made a spectacular debut when horse racing resumed after a one-week break last week Saturday at Santa Rosa Park, Arima.
After having just two of her 11 rivals to beat turning for home in the third event of the seven-race card, John O’Brien’s charge did much more than just cruise as she thundered down the stretch in the Stud Farm Association Breeders Stakes.
Just Cruizin’s “turn of foot” was so devastating that she already hit the front with 50 metres left and was actually eased up by champion jockey Ronald Ali to score by 1 ¼ lengths, at odds of 8/1.
