Once again, the tender process has failed to provide a ferry for the seabridge. And Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley has mandated a four-member Cabinet sub-committee to take charge of this process and find a ferry “in the shortest possible time”.

This was announced by Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister Stuart Young at yesterday’s post-Cabinet news conference at the Diplomatic Centre, St Ann’s.

The sub-committee comprises ministers Young, Colm Imbert, Robert Le Hunte and Shamfa Cudjoe.

As soon as the Prime Minister became aware of the situation one week ago, he took action, Young said.
