Trinidad Express / BARBADOS-born Rihanna has called for an end to gun violence.
This after her 21-year-old cousin was shot and killed on Tuesday night, hours after spending time with her on the island.
In an Instagram post, Rihanna wrote: “RIP cousin…can’t believe it was just last night that I held you in my arms! Never thought that would be the last time I felt the warmth in your body!!! Love you always man!”
She called for an end to gun violence.
The victim, 21-year-old Tavon Alleyne of Eden Lodge, St Michael, was attacked as he was walking through a track near his home.
He was approached by a man who shot him multiple times. Alleyne died at hospital.
The killing is unsolved.
