Trinidad Express / Sanell Dempster is best known for her successful soca music career and for becoming the second woman to ever win the Road March title with her song “River” back in 1999. She was also at one time in her soca career referred to as a “man basher”, because the tone of her songs were deemed feminist. But that’s all changed as Dempster has gone sweet on us. These days, though, the one-time Blue Ventures singer is building quite a name for herself in the food and beverage industry.  A few years ago, to enhance her baking skills, she signed up for and completed a cake-making course.
