RJR News / The West Indies suffered yet another series defeat as New Zealand swept their three match series with a 66 run Duckworth/Lewis victory in the third game in Christchurch. The match was abbreviated due to rain and saw New Zealand posting 131-4 after 23 overs. Ross Taylor with 47 not out, led for the Kiwis while Tom Latham made 37. Sheldon Cottrell who had the hosts reeling at 26-3, ended with 2-19 while there was a wicket each for Jason Holder and the returning Nikita Miller. Set a revised 166 to win from 23 overs, the entire Windies top order collapsed as they were 9-5 at one stage before eventually getting to 99 for 9 from the allotted overs. Captain Jason Holder 34 and the Jamaican pair of Millier 20 not out and Rovman Powell 11, were the only batsmen to get to double figures. The result means the Caribbean men are without an ODI win in New Zealand since 2014.
