Jamaica Observer / MONTEGO BAY, St James — With the parish of St James currently under a state of public emergency due to its spiraling crime rate, the latest edition of the Bring Back the Love party series is an apt edition. The event is set for this Saturday inside the newly renovated Sunset Brewery on Montego Bay’s famed Gloucester Avenue, dubbed the “Hip Strip”.
“This is our fourth staging and I believe our most important one to date. We have always felt that events like Bring Back the Love helps to unify the community. It was out of that thought process that this event was conceptualised, and this year we feel the need for the event is even greater,” said Phillip Grey, a member of the promotional team.
“The party has grown over the years, we have several patrons that look forward to it because we are always promoting peace and love. They travel from the United States and all over Jamaica to party with us because the vibe is just so good.”
Grey stressed that the event has built up a reputation for delivering a great party atmosphere.
“Even the DJs that play each year are always looking forward to coming back because of the good response and vibes,” he pointed out.
DJs Timeless, Bubby, Genius and Jazzy T have been given musical charge for the event, which kicks off at 9:00 pm and is set to end at 2:00 am.
Tickets for the event are available at Sunset Brewery at a cost of $500 each.
