Trinidad Express / THREE MEN were killed in separate incidents in north Trinidad on Sunday evening.

The deceased were identified as Junior Weekes, of Laventille, and Kendell Dowden.

At around 5 p.m. Dowden, 39 was at his home at Cizan Trace, Diego Martin, when two men in a white Nissan Tiida stopped at his house.

Dowden came out and while speaking with them, the occupants of the vehicle opened fire.

Dowden was taken to the Port of Spain General Hospital where he died.

And at around 6.50 p.m. Weekes, 36, was at Buller Trace when he was shot.

Residents found him bleeding and took him to hospital.

He too died while receiving treatment.

Bleeding from stab wounds, a man went home to his wife on Sunday night.

Ryan Phillip died while being treated at hospital.

At around 11 p.m. Phillip went to his wife’s home at Akal Trace, Santa Cruz.

Police said his wife found him bleeding from stab wounds to the back.

She took him to the nearby fire station where he was treated and taken to hospital.

Phillip died at the Mt Hope Hospital.

The killings took the homicide toll to 67, according to an Express tally.
