RJR News / Another call has been made for the resumption of the public education programme Two Is Better Than Too Many .   Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Paula Llewellyn says the problem of women producing too many children they are ill-prepared to care for, may result in dysfunctional individuals who become a strain on the society.   “…they are not in an environment where they are properly guided…some of them having been abused, sexually, physically, and when they become young adults, they become crass, boorish and totally unfamiliar with certain etiquette that would allow them to take their place as productive members of the society,” she said at a recent meeting of the Rotary Club of Savanna-la-Mar in Westmoreland.   The Two Is Better Than Too Many campaign was launched in the 1970s by the National Family Planning Board.   Since then, there have been several calls for a resumption of the campaign which has been credited for reducing the birth rate.
