Fourth Child Succumbs Following Olympic Gardens Fire In January

RJR News / A fourth child has died following the January 27 fire at a house on Boobie Drive in Olympic Gardens, St. Andrew.   The child died last week while being treated in hospital.   An 18-year-old who also lost a child in the fire was arrested and charged. She is out on bail.   It was reported that the four children were left in her care. The teenager subsequently asked her 13-year-old sister to monitor them and went to a dance nearby.   It is said that the fire started from a lit candle that was left in the room where the children were staying. Another child belonging to the 18-year-old who also burnt in the fire is now out of  the hospital.
