Enterprise and Maraval have been quiet over the last few days after six murders which rocked the communities, but the violence continued in East Port of Spain with three more murders yesterday, bringing the murder toll to 134 for the year.

Up to press time last night, police were on the scene investigating the deaths of two men who were gunned down in Belmont about 5.45 p.m.

The men were last night identified as Keston Aberdeen and Ken Francis Ramlal. Police said both men were from La Brea

Residents of Belgrade Street heard several loud explosions and upon investigating they observed a blue Mazda sedan parked along the roadway. Inside the car were two bullet-riddled bodies.

The police were notified and a team of officers from the Port of Spain Division and the Homicide Bureau, led by Senior Supt Radcliffe Boxill, responded.
