‘Sando’ best Jabloteh 2-1*

Trinidad Express / San Juan Jabloteh were left crestfallen a second time, when letting it slip at the death against visiting Club Sando at the Barataria Oval on Saturday as TT Pro League action continued at the weekend. Saturday’s other match saw Defence Force and Morvant Caledonia United draw goalless at the Arima Velodrome. Club Sando celebrated a third straight victory with a 2-1 come-from-behind result over Jabloteh to move two spots up into third, but level on 10 points with Jabloteh. They are three points adrift of joint leaders W Connection and North East Stars. Jabloteh took lead through well-executed strike from an unlikely source, right-back Jevon Morris, but Akim Armstrong quickly levelled the visitors in the first half. It was not until deep into stoppage time, however, that Vincentian substitute Nical Stephens got the winner, after his cross-turned-shot was spilled into the net by Jabloteh goalie Javon Sample.
