Trinidad Express / ROXANNE CUDJOE has been granted  $100,000 bail for allegedly harbouring prisoner Vicky Boodram.

Cudjoe who was denied bail at her appearance in Port of Spain yesterday, was not present for the matter today. She was due to appear before Siparia magistrate Margaret Alert.

Defence attorney Richard Clarke-Wils said Cudjoe, 32, was a mother of one who worked at a lotto booth and moonlighted as a hairdresser.

He said while her criminal record showed she had three pending matters for littering, obscene language and resisting arrest, these has been dismissed.

Police prosecutor Sgt Sheldon Ablacksingh made no objection to bail.

The court was told the penalty for the offence is $100,000 and five years in prison.

Cudjoe was placed on $100,000 bail.

The matter will be recalled tomorrow for documents to be handed over to her attorney.
