Weather Update: Showers expected in northern parishes today

Jamaica Observer / KINGSTON, Jamaica — In the local forecast this morning isolated showers are expected across sections of northern and south eastern parishes, while elsewhere should be mainly fair, the Meteorological (Met) Service has reported.

This afternoon isolated showers are expected across sections of central and western parishes and tonight should be partly cloudy.

Meanwhile, there is currently a trough across the central Caribbean, including Jamaica and is expected to linger across the region until late Tuesday evening, when a high pressure ridge should become the dominant feature.
