Woman, grandpa held with AK-47, and police, army kits

Trinidad Express / A 24-year-old woman and a 68-year-old man were arrested on Tuesday, after clothing belonging to the police and army, were seized by Central Division officers from a house at Sampson Street South, Cunupia. 

The items, along with an AK-47 assault rifle and 28 rounds of ammunition, were seized by officers under ASP  Richard Smith, during an anti-crime exercise.

Officers executed a search warrant at the house where they allegedly found the assault rifle, a magazine containing 28 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition and the pieces of clothing.
