32 COVID-19 Cases, One More Death

The Ministry of Health says 32 cases were confirmed on Sunday from 397 samples.   The positivity rate is 7.4 per cent.   Jamaica’s COVID-19 case count is now 48,983.   Additionally, a 57-year-old woman from St. James is the latest to die from COVID-19 in the country.   The death toll has increased to 971.   Active COVID-19 cases decreased 21,307 on Saturday to 21,209 on Sunday.   The number of persons hospitalised with the virus also declined by one to 136.     Seven of the cases are critical.
